Our wedding day was PERFECT! We cannot get over how beautiful our day turned out. We’re so thankful for Judy; her prompt responses, her very detailed contract and her willingly letting us use whichever vendors fitted our day. She lays everything out from the start and it’s very easy to abide by her contract. We’re so blessed to have had our wedding day here. We appreciate Judy and how she keeps the venue affordable, so people like us can have our dream wedding! The venue is always landscaped to perfection. This makes taking photos a breeze. The bridal suite is absolutely amazing and has ample space for all of your ladies to get ready. The grooms suite is also very nice and offers a pool table among other options for the men to keep occupied. Our day of coordinator Kylie was helpful with keeping the day on track and answering any questions we had. She even fluffed my train before I walked down the aisle. If you’re thinking of getting married here DO IT!!! This venue deserves way more than five stars. We will forever be grateful for Promise Farm for hosting our absolute dream of a wedding !

There’s something truly special about Promise Farm in Lancaster, PA, a venue that offers a perfect mix of natural beauty and thoughtful design. As a Central PA and East Coast photographer who focuses on light and airy, timeless imagery, I’m always drawn to spaces that feel both romantic and versatile, and this one checks every box. The ceremony view is stunning and it creates such a heartfelt setting. The nearby shady trees are perfect for soft, flattering family and bridal party portraits throughout the day, no matter the light. Inside, the venue is a dream: a large bridal suite for getting ready, clean white walls, beautiful natural light, and just the right touch of rustic charm with its stone accents. It feels refined and graceful, but still warm and inviting! Sunset here is magic. The property glows in golden hour light, making it perfect for romantic, elegant portraits that feel timeless and emotional. I would adore photographing many more weddings here in the future!

This was the first and only venue my husband and I chose to look at, we knew as soon as we drive up the driveway and saw everything, that this was where we wanted to get married. The venue is absolutely gorgeous!!! Everything was amazing, and Judy was just as amazing! She was so accommodating and responded to all of my questions quickly. She even popped in the day we were setting up just to see if we needed anything. Everything about this venue is absolutely amazing and gorgeous!

We have shot quite a few weddings at Promise Farm and absolutely love this venue! There are so many gorgeous spots for photos on the property and the downstairs bridal suite is perfect for getting ready photos! We’ve been there when the outdoor ceremony had to be moved indoors for the rain and it was just as beautiful inside! Looking forward to many more weddings at Promise Farm 🤍

Attended my son’s wedding on Aug. 8, 2025 at this absolutely stunning venue! We had toured the venue in early spring, and it was gorgeous then, but with the flowers blooming and butterflies, it was stunning. I met Judy and she was wonderful! Both my son and daughter-in-law were so happy with their decision to have their wedding at Promise Farm. We were able to decorate and set up the day before, and were able to get in early on the day of the wedding. The Bride’s room was well appointed and had room for everyone! I highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

Our daughter was married here this past Saturday and we couldn’t be any happier with the location, Judy, or Jilian! Beginning a year ago with the tour by Judy, to the rehearsal with Jilian, and day of with her as well, everything was perfect. It rained all day up until 20 minutes before the ceremony and as soon as it stopped, Jilian was out there with our hand towels drying off chairs! What a blessing. Communication before and during the event was great. The key with Promise Farm as it is with other locations as well is, know and understand your contract. We made sure we did this and even met with Judy online in January to discuss something we wanted to do outside the contract and we reached an acceptable resolution. Know your contract, enter the event with a positive attitude, be friendly with everyone involved, and you will have a beautiful event! Thank you so much Judy and Jilian for helping to create an unforgettable and blessed wedding for Ruth and Ben. They will have wonderful memories of their special day!

My husband Josh and I were married at Promise Farm in the beginning of May. Working with Judy (owner) and Katrina (day of coordinator) was an absolute joy. They answered all our questions, were patient during the stressful times, and made us feel valued. If you are looking for a stunning venue that is still affordable, Promise Farm is the answer. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the barn and surrounding grounds. We are so lucky to have found Promise Farm.

Absolutely a gorgeous place to have a wedding! Was looking for our daughter and wow!

Our day at Promise Farm was absolutely beautiful. Everything went off without a hitch. We had no problems with being compliant with sound requirements or anything else. Our DJ did come and do the requested sound check so he was fully aware of their requirements. Judy did have a tour that day of the wedding when we were setting up. We had just finished setting up the tables, chairs, linens, and setting the tables with the place settings. She pulled chairs away and had the group sit next to the table. I was a little frustrated at first because I was told they would just “peek” in, but they replaced the chairs back where we had them and left after about 20 minutes. Katelynn was a great resource to have around day of. She ensured we were all ready to go down the aisle, checked in occasionally, and helped us with clean up. I will advise that Promise Farm only allows for a certain table and chair vendor, Tents for You. We were shocked by the lack of quality of the items provided by this vendor. We had a table that was cracked and bowed and other tables that were completely rough wood on top. We also go our linens through them, which after the fact I found out that they sublease these. There were linens with stains and tears. I brought this to the attention of the individual I was working with at Tents for You two days after our wedding, Monday morning. He was extremely rude and stated he would have expected to know these concerns day of when we were using the items. I did advise Judy of my experience with them and made the recommendation that they seek out alternative vendors.

Prospective couples…I’d be lying if I said leading up to our wedding, I wasn’t a bit nervous how things would go due to both Google reviews and experiences from people I personally know that have gotten married here. BUT – I am HAPPY to report that we had an absolutely wonderful experience with Promise Farm! We toured and booked for our May 2024 wedding back in Dec 2022/Jan 2023 and from the beginning through to our wedding, Judy was always kind, flexible and very prompt in responding to any questions or concerns we had along the way. Our wedding was on a Friday, so we were allowed to set up the barn on Thursday prior to our rehearsal slot which was an absolute lifesaver and A HUGE perk to getting married here on a Friday! The day of the wedding, Judy’s daughter, Katelyn, was there as our contact point if we needed anything. She was also very kind, friendly and helpful, she even helped bustle my dress! We were unaware that she would be sitting downstairs the whole evening until the day-of so one of my only things to note is that it would have been helpful to know in advance to plan appropriately for our vendors eating there and/or pumping down there, and securing personal belongings, etc. We absolutely did not have a problem with her being around, we were very glad to have someone there if needed! Just for appropriate planning and knowing she’d be available if needed in advance is all! Be aware that you do have to use Tents for ‘You’ for your table and chair rentals. While they did end up being kind and responsive, it was a nightmare to get a hold of them at the beginning! Their form on their website was not working (I filled it out like 5 times over the course of 2 months). I eventually moved to Facebook Messenger to contact them about our event and let them know their form may be down. They were unresponsive and when they did reply, they were rude and just very unprofessional. I do have to say though that they did eventually change and were fine to work with. I do wish the venue had at least one other option for you to choose between, because it was really rubbing me the wrong way and unfortunately drags this beautiful venue down with them since it’s your only choice. Back to the venue though…The landscaping/grounds are absolutely beautiful especially while everything is blooming, and we couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop for our special day! The weather was unbelievably perfect on our day too so the fountain in the pond was going as well which I loved! The back deck is spacious, and our guests loved hanging out there. Everyone had a great time and kept complimenting how beautiful it was at Promise Farm! If you are feeling skeptical about having your event at Promise Farm, I do hope this honest review helps you! I would be honest if we came across major issues, but we truly did not. I am truly happy that we chose Promise Farm and can honestly say that I would recommend this venue to anyone who is interested in it! They’ve come a long way. Thanks Judy and Katelyn for everything!

My husband Josh and I were very honored to be able to have our wedding at Promise Farm on August 25, 2024!! It was such a beautiful and gorgeous venue!🥰 They have a fun groom’s getting ready suite, and an elegant bride’s getting ready suite!! 💗 Judi was so helpful, and it was an amazing experience!!😍 I highly recommend this venue!!

My brother got married here and we couldn’t have had a better experience. The owner is amazing and so friendly! The barn and surroundings are absolutely gorgeous! We are so thrilled he had his reception in such a beautiful place. The barn has all the updated amenities that you could ask for and the bridal suite to get ready in was far superior to any other place I’ve been for a wedding! So glad they booked this venue! Highly recommend

We had our wedding here on October 19th, 2024 and it was the perfect day!! Everyone involved was super helpful and the owner Judy and the event coordinator Katelyn were amazing with responding to my texts with answers to my questions. I saw recent reviews about complaints with the noise level and we had no issue with that. Your dj will be required to come to the venue weeks before the event where they can ask any questions and everything will be laid out for them. There are so many nice spots for photo opportunities. The barn is beautiful as well as the bridal suite!! I wanna thank Judy and her team for making our wedding day everything I could’ve dreamed of!

Our wedding reception at Promise Farm turned out perfect! The property is very well kept and the scenery is beautiful for pictures. The day of coordinator that was there was wonderful to work with and very helpful! Highly recommend! All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how perfect the reception was.

We had the absolute best experience with Promise Farm venue & staff. Having a Friday wedding, you get the chance to set-up on Thursday which was a huge blessing for us and perfect for those who do not have a wedding planner in their budget. We worked closing with Judy in the planning process and she helped to answer any and all questions or concerns we had. During set-up, rehearsal, and the actual wedding day, we worked closely with Kate who is one of the coordinators. Kate helped the day go so smooth, always made sure I had what I needed like water, food, and she even bustled my dress for me last minute which was a huge help. We booked over a year ago and heard a lot of complaints about the music levels. There is a contract your DJ will sign when you book stating the rules of the music. It’s a very clear and concise contract. We had no issues with it. We did get asked to turn the music down one time and even after that, the music was still loud enough for our guests to enjoy. I will forever be grateful for this budget friendly barn venue. It has aloud young couple like us have our dream wedding. We are beyond blessed and would recommend Promise Farms to our family and friends!

Had a wonderful experience at Promise Farm over this past weekend. Judy was super helpful and accommodating; everything went perfectly. Would highly recommend. We had around 125 people, did platted dinner through Rettews, and had more than enough space for everything (which we were a little concerned about).

Promise Farm was the perfect venue! It was absolutely beautiful. Judy and her team went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We were provided a day of coordinator who helped us have a stress free day. The barn speaks for itself, hands down the most beautiful barn in Pennsylvania. The landscaping of the venue was filled with bright, beautiful flowers that made pictures come to life. Both the bridal and groom suites were very cleanly and beautiful. We had the perfect day, all thank you to Promise Farm! 100% recommend this beautiful venue!!!

We had our wedding in June and everything was perfect! Promise Farm is a beautiful venue. The landscaping and attention to detail in this property is truly remarkable. Judy is a pleasure to work with! She is very responsive and provides you with the necessary information to plan your wedding. We were provided a day of coordinator who helped ensure everything was going smoothly. The bridal and groomsmen suites were clean and organized which made getting ready on our wedding day a breeze. The outdoor space truly shines in the summer and makes for great pictures. I highly recommend Promise Farm as a wedding venue. It will make all your wedding dreams come true!

We had our wedding at Promise Farm on May 3, 2024. To say that Promise Farm is a gorgeous wedding venue would be an understatement. We were lucky enough to have great weather for our wedding, so we had our ceremony outside and our reception inside the barn. The grounds are immaculately kept, the outdoor ceremony space is beautiful, and the barn itself is spacious, clean, and climate controlled. After booking last year, Judy helped us every step of the way with any questions we had and was very accommodating. Katelynn was the day-of manager at the venue, and with her help, our day went off without a hitch. Amenities include a bridal suite for the girls, a getting-ready area/man cave for the guys (including a pool table, big screen tv, ping pong table, etc), and bathrooms inside the actual barn. This last bit was a big deal for us since we had some elderly guests and a lot of barn venues seem to have out buildings for bathrooms. We’re so happy we booked our wedding with Promise Farm, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a venue with beautiful grounds, and amazing customer service!

So deserving of the 5 stars! We had the perfect day. Our wedding was June 7th and our guests are still raving about how gorgeous the entire venue was. Judy and Katelyn the venue manager made everything so smooth and easy. Judy accommodated our vendors who came to the venue months before our day to make sure all details were complete for it to be an stress-free day! It was amazing being able to hire the vendors we wanted to customize our day to us. I could not recommend Promise Farm enough.

I have been a vendor (Photo Booth) at Promise Farm many times since it opened. I have had nothing but great experinces here. The venue is gorgeous with tons of views. I am always happy when a bride or groom hire me at this venue because I know everything will go smoothly and it is local to me. Judy has been nothing but kind and helpful to me. 10/10

We had our wedding here in November and absolutely loved the venue. Everything turned out so beautiful and perfect. We had no issues with the venue and they were always responsive to all of my questions. The venue is a great price, and it included everything I could want. I would recommend promise farms to anyone!!

JUDY is amazing ! And our day of coordinator was so supportive and really helped me get through one of the most stressful mornings I have ever had ! She was kind and I could just tell she was really cared about me and the out come of my day.. and it was amazing !!!!! First I would like to say thank you to Judy and her assistant for being so kind and gracious throughout the whole process. If we had a question Judy and her team responded back within a timely fashion. Originally our daughter and son in law wanted an outside ceremony but due to the rain we had to move everything inside. Overall, everything worked out great and we could have not asked for a better outcome. Judy’s assistant Kaitlyn I believe (I apologize if spelled incorrectly) was super friendly, nice, very professional and very attentive to everyone’s needs during this special day which was on April 27th, 2024. But overall, Promise Farms is definitely a venue that has it’s own unique charm to make beautiful memories with and to surround yourself with those that are close to you and love. Thank you again!!

Judy and her husband at the Promise Farm have been the best experience we have ever had with any venue. They have been more than willing to work with my wife and I, help us, and to make our time truly elegant and special. Moreover, they are uniquely personable and kind. The Promise Farm venue itself is a scene out of dream. The property is beautifully landscaped, clean, and private. My wife and I are overjoyed to have chosen the Promise Farm as our elegant venue! Truly, I recommend the Promise Farm for any couple looking for an elegant, peaceful, and honest experience!

We had our wedding at Promise Farm in October and it really was a perfect day! We had the most beautiful backdrop for our outdoor ceremony and perfect spaces for cocktail hour and reception. Judy and her staff were so helpful starting from the very beginning tour of the venue to our wedding day. I felt that all my questions were answered clearly and promptly, which helped me to feel confident during all the planning that had to be done. I loved that I was able to choose the vendors that I wanted to use and also set things up to have my vision for my wedding come to life. The venue was clean and had great bride and groom suites to hang out in and get ready for the day. We loved that we found a beautiful venue for an amazing price. If you are a DIY bride this is a great choice!

This space is absolutely gorgeous. From the landscaping to the barn itself, it’s breathtaking. You can tell a lot of time and energy went into this location. It is the perfect place to start your happily ever after.

I have to be honest, before I came to DJ here, I was very skeptical to how things were going to pan out for the day after reading the negative reviews on here. That said, I just did a wedding here yesterday. Yes, there are sound restrictions. However, that didn’t keep me from being able to do my job. I know it’s easy to get frustrated not being able to be loud, or push as much bass as I normally would for a wedding, but rules are rules. If you follow them and just be patient, everything will be just fine. This place is beautiful! Couldn’t be happier to have had the opportunity to DJ here and looking forward to being here again in the future. Katelynn, the event manager was absolutely fantastic to work with.
